ZEN Portfolios is offering free basic accounts to students, teachers and faculty and administrators from educational institutions. To receive an invitation code to enable registration, please fill out this form. The basic account offers full functionality but limited storage (20 megabytes) and basic support (access to FAQs and instructions). This is okay for a basic e-portfolio or to add a welcome post to the ZEN Portfolios directory that links to your existing e-portfolio hosted elsewhere.

You can upgrade later if you wish to our premium service with more storage (2 gigabytes) and premium support (online forum support, plus email and phone support for lead faculty). Alternatively, if you’re on a tight budget you can use a basic ZEN Portfolios free account in combination with one of the free online file storage providers to give you powerful and free e-portfolio functionality plus plenty of storage!

It would be more convenient to use the ZEN Portfolio’s premium service with its extra storage and support but with a bit of extra effort you can “mash-up” ZEN Portfolios with one of the free file storage providers like Dropbox.com, Microsoft’s Windows Live Sky Drive service or an affordable, fee-based but feature rich service like one of our partners offers, SugarSyn.
