On Wednesday October 21, 2009 I (left) attended a BC AMA Event at Yaletown’s trendy hotspot – Earls V Lounge in downtown Vancouver. The director of marketing for Vancouver Film School (VFS), Stephen Webster spoke on the topic, “the strategy of engagement in social marketing.” In his presentation Stephen described how this strategy proved to be successful for VFS. They used social marketing for their school by holding a world wide contest on YouTube called, “its all about you” where the contestant was required to post a video to YouTube that described how VFS could help them pursue their passion.
