Top Of Whistler

One of my favorite things to do, (in the winter), is hang out on a mountain. As a child I spent many weekends in Whistler, and I learned to ski at a very young age. I stopped skiing at the age of 12 and took up snowboarding which I love, and still do as ofter as I can! This is photo is in lew of Whistler opening early this weekend!!!

As you may have guessed from this photo I am a bit of a Canucks fan, I was raised one by my Dad. I used to always pretend to go to sleep and litsten to the game on my Sony Walkman! It’s a little bit different now but I rarely miss a game (even if I have to listen to it on the radio )

One of the things I recently learned about is Linkedin. This is a networking site that links all different kinds of business and entrepreneurs. The site was brought to my attention about three months ago, and I have yet to utilize what the network has to offer. But I do see it being a very beneficial tool for me in the future.

Remembering To Give

For the past 30 years, the Strathcona Community Center has offered subsidized or free recreational and educational programs for over 200 children daily, this event raises money to keep these programs available to the children.

This is a friends event which I was supposed to attend by couldn’t make it this year due to mid-terms. However, this year the organizers had to find a larger venue to accommodate the number of people attending. Great to see!!
