Using Charts with MS Powerpoint 2007

MS Office PowerPoint 2007 includes many different types of charts and graphs that you can use to inform your audience about inventory levels, organizational changes, sales figures, and much more.

Charts are an Illustration feature than can be found in MS Word 2007 and MS Power Point 2007. Here is a quick list on how to find and activate charts in Word and Power Point 2007:

1. Look for the tab the says “Insert”
2. Once you have clicked “Insert” tab, look for the section of options called “Illustrations”
3. Once you have found the “Illustrations” section, click on “Charts”
4. When you click on the “Charts” logo, list of charts opens up. Choose the “Chart” that best illustrates the information you are trying to portray
5. Not sure which chart to use? Try a few until you find the one that illustrates your information in the most concise way
