In our Business Communications class, we are currently sending out letters to prospective guests asking them if they are able to come to BCIT and answer a few questions about work place behaviors in the real world.
My group ( BLT ) has made contact with one guest so far and we have just sent him the following letter:

Team BLT would like to thank you for your willingness to take part in the Leader’s Forum at BCIT. The Leader’s forum is a great opportunity to have a face to face conversation with our eager business students at BCIT.
During this event, guests will be asked a set of question prepared by each student team in order for us to learn more about the real-life work environment. Some of the topics in which these questions will be based on include the following:
- Motivation and Applied Performance Practices
- Teams and Teamwork
- Leadership, Organizational Culture and Organizational Change
- Conflict Management and Negotiation; Power and Influence
The BCIT Leader’s Forum is a great chance for both you and the students at BCIT to communicate with each other. It allows you to share your industry-experiences the future business employee’s at BCIT.
