Past Schooling vs BCIT

Since I graduated high school in 2005 I’ve always been encouraged to continue my education and enroll in post secondary schooling. After high school I went straight into university at St Francis Xavier university in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. While I was only there two years I honestly believe that the university route was not a good choice for me and I’m glad that I left and decided to change my post secondary route. Today I’m attending BCIT and I cannot say a bad thing about the program of the school itself. The “set” system is brilliant and because of it I have made many more friends already in my first 2 months of school than I did in my whole two years at STFX. BCIT has also already opened the door for me in many different ways for networking outside of class, as well as how to work in a team environment. I’m glad I chose BCIT and I hope that prospective students listen from my great (all be it brief so far) experience

Team Charter

Our team spent a lot of time putting this team charter together for our Organizational Behaviour course at BCIT. I learned a lot about teamwork, and the different roles each person needs to contribute to be successful in any future projects. This is the contract in which we must all abide by all year long.  Take a look

Riding

One of the things that I love to do the most when it comes to winter time in Vancouver is head up the mountains and go snowboarding. Even though it’s only earlt November I’m already excited to see the white stuff fall so I can drive there, buckle up, and drop in on a new season of riding.
