Schmoozapalooza

On Thursday, December 2nd, 2009, I will be attending BCIT’s annual Schmoozapalooza event. Schmoozapalooza is a networking event that allows BCIT Marketing Communications students to meet with past graduates and industry professionals. The event is aimed at introducing students to professionals currently working in their field of study, helping them to make connections and contacts all while having fun!
The event is put on by the BCIT Alumni Organization, BCIT MA, and AIM BCIT. As a member of the BCIT MA Scmoozapalooza Promotions Committee, I am working to raise funds for this event. Through a raffle for a Canucks jersey and two tickets two a game, and a first year fundraising competition, we are hoping to raise over $200 to go towards the event.
