My name is Kim Thandi and I am currently attending British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) as a Financial Management student. On my e-Portfolio I will display my various assignments I’ve completed in my short time at BCIT.

For Business Informations my group and I had to create a short youtube video showing why we chose BCIT. With this assignment we gained experience on power point and learned how to upload videos on to youtube.
In our business information systems class we were assigned create a business style report on word 07 on a topic of our choice. Our topic was facebook. After completing the project we had to change the report to pdf format.
The first step to becoming a team was to create our team charter. This was quite the challenge because we were placed into groups with unfamiliar people and were required to work together to make a charter. In the end we learned a lot about each other and did a fantastic job on our charter.
Motivation is the aspect that keeps individuals working. For organizational behaviours we had to write about a time where we were motivated to do something.
For marketing, one of our assignments was to take a survey and then review the results to see what kind of consumer I am. This allowed me to learn about the different types of consumers and also how individuals in different generation cohorts spend in comparison to each other.
The Vancouver Canucks- The love of my life. I’ve been following hockey since I was young and have always been faithful to the Canucks. With the up and downs, the playoff runs and early golf starts the Canucks are a big part of my life. I’ve learned to Believe in Blue and always hope for the Stanley Cup if not this year then the next.
Yianni’s Greek Taverna…recently named the “Best Greek Restuarant” in New Westminster is where I spend most of my time. After my parents took over, just over a year ago, I’ve been managing the place for them. I’ve gained a lot of management skills in the process and have learned a lot about customer service.

Yeah… I went there a few weeks ago with my girlfriend. Very attentive staff. I had the roast lamb and it was delicious. I would definitely go there again.
