Fun with MS PowerPoint 2007 and Camtasia

November 9th, 2009

Team MAD was put to the test to create a PowerPoint Presentation on why we chose BCIT and somehow upload it to YouTube. The process was long and grueling but we managed to pull it off! GO TEAM MAD!!! Phew … Using Camtasia seemed impossible for us but eventually it worked. :) Here’s our finished product!

RULES RULES RULES – The Team Charter

November 9th, 2009

Becoming a group is easy. Place a few students together and kaboom … there’s your group. But creating guidelines for a group to follow isn’t as simple. Ground rules needed to be laid down and a sort of “contract” in the form of a charter was made. This showcases basic “strike” rules, our teams goals and individual goals as well as the ROLE each person would play as a part of our cast of members.

Forming, Storming, Norming and Performing definitely happened in this activity, but the end result was the first sign of great teamwork!

The BlackBerry Solution – A Case Study

November 5th, 2009

Team MAD at it again :)

BlackBerry Case Study Title Page

This assignment was our first Case Study for our Marketing class.

Our question was “How can Research in Motion (RIM) improve the Blackberry brand and dominate the Smartphone market?”

Here is our solution.

Our team did AMAZING on this case. I’m so proud of us for coming together to produce a great piece of work.

*HIGH FIVES* all around! :D

Canty International – The 2nd Case Study

November 4th, 2009

Team MAD has really come together. :) Our second case study was about pricing strategies.

Canty

Basically the scenario was, Canty International, a wall system and covering’s manufacturer, received a request for proposal (RFP) from an important client. Due to this RFP a design for a new wall covering was made – DECOLINE.

Our question was for this case study was: “What price should Canty International charge for Decoline Panels? What pricing strategy should they use to determine the pricing value to reach their target market?”

Here is our solution.
