My name is Oscar Chiu and I am currently a 1st year student studying Financial Management at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). This e-Portfolio will showcase a few samples of my work as I progress through school. My goal is to obtain a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and work at a bank or any other financial institute.
Here is a commercial my team and I made for our BSYS class using MS Powerpoint 2007.
Mike Lorry, Lianna Liang, and I made an e-book and published it on lulu.com. We made the book to introduce a software our team used throughout the school year that allows us to share files.

This is part of a problem assignment I did in excel for accounting
I recently attended Intel’s Webcast Event. This event was an introduction to Windows 7 and happened right before the launch, Oct. 21st, 2009.
This webcast event is exclusive to those who have worked at retail stores. For me, since I worked at Best Buy Canada, I signed up to their retail edge program and was able to attend this event. They showed the amazing features of the new Windows 7 such as real live preview of minimized windows and a new interactive “shake” feature that closes all programs except for the window that was shaked.

I train 3 times a week doing Muay Thai at a local gym.
I play the piano, guitar, clarinet, and tenor saxophone very well. Took lessons for piano, guitar and clarinet. Because tenor saxophone is very similar to the clarinet, I ended up teaching myself.
I have a passion for cars, computers, technology, and movies.
I love Audi’s.
My first car was a Nissan Sentra, in which I learned to drive manual transmission in.
From there, I bought an Audi A4, manual transmission as well.
Then I switched to an Audi A8 and have been driving that car since.
Audi’s are great because of their AWD system. Especially during a west coast winter, AWD really makes a difference when driving around in the snow.
My dream car is the Audi R8 V10. I will accept donations to fund my dream.
