London still seems to be doing relatively well in the job market but that’s not to say that it doesn’t have it struggles.

Students leaving university can expect increased competition as a recent survey indicated a 33% increase in applications. That means that the expected level of applications to enter the London market this year is about 343,000. This has left many graduates taking low-skill jobs due to the high competition for work in their fields of study. Another study shows that 40% of last years graduates are still unemployed even in the lower-skilled job market. Scary facts considering the investment that graduates have made in their education, one would expect some level of return on investment. The reality is that a large portion of graduates hold nothing but a very expensive receipt from their universities, a thank you many years of hard work and tuition payments.

So what can one do to increase their chances of landing that ever-so-rare job in the UK market? They need to be different…. Marketing 100; you need a differentiation strategy and a CAPM certification is one way that can be accomplished.
