In our BSYS class we had to make a tutorial on a certain computer program, and we chose Facebook. It is one of the fastest growing networking sites, and it is a great asset to know how it works and its advantages. My task for this assignment was to research helpful websites and to put the document together. We then put the assignment on lulu.com to professionally publish this tutorial.

For our Business Information Systems class we had to make a commercial on why perspective students should choose BCIT. We had to integrate videos into PowerPoint and then convert the PowerPoint into a YouTube video. My tasks for this assignment were to create the PowerPoint and then upload it onto YouTube for the world to see.

I made a blog on how to use a feature of Microsoft Word 2007. The feature that was assigned to me was Formatting Tables with different styles. The main objectives of this assignment was to learn how to make my own blog and to teach people how to use Microsoft Word.  This was helpful because I can know make professional looking blogs and you can see it here.

When we first assembled our teams at BCIT, we had to set some rules or guidelines that would determine how our team operates. We have many group assignments that are due throughout the year and it is important that all team members are on the same page and works as a unit. You can see our team charter here.

As I stated in the opening, I am enrolled at BCIT in the Financial Management program. It is a two-year diploma program with an option of getting a degree when it is over. Right now, I am leaning towards getting a degree when I am finished so I could get an accounting designation. I will probably try to become a CGA when it’s all over with.

For my Organizational Behaviour class we had to write about a time that we were very motivated. I wrote about one year when I didn’t make the soccer team. This assignment which you can see here, was useful because it let us reflect upon our past.

For my Marketing class my group had to research what Research in Motion (the creators of the BlackBerry) had to do to stay competitive with Apple. My job in the assignment was to research the key findings of the companies and state the main problem. I also had to get everyone’s parts and put it all together. You can see it here.

When I have some free time, one of my favourite activities is to play and watch football. I am more into the NFL and my favourite team is the San Diego Chargers but my favourite player is Randy Moss of the New England Patriots. I enjoy the competitveness and skill the most when watching football.

I am currently employed at Real Canadian Superstore and I have been working there for over a year now. My job is in the grocery department and I basically stock shelves but there is a lot of interactions with customers that will help me in the future,
