<p>Document Inspector allows you to quickly find and delete sensitive personal information. You can use Document Inspector to view what types of information is in your project and delete them easily by using the built-in modules or customize your own. Here are a few examples of information that you may wish to delete:</p>
<li>Your name and initials</li>
<li>Your company or organization name</li>
<li>The name of your computer</li>
<li>The name of the network server or hard disk drive where you saved the document</li>
<li>Other file properties and summary information</li>
<li>Non-visible portions of embedded OLE objects</li>
<li>The names of previous document authors</li>
<li>Document revisions</li>
<li>Document versions</li>
<li>Template information</li>
<li>Hidden text</li>
<li>Tracked changes and comments</li>
<p>These kinds of information will put you at risk of potential identity fraud, credit fraud, and other illegal activities.</p>

<p><strong>How to Use it in MS Powerpoint 2007</strong></p>
<p>1. Click the <em>Microsoft Office Button</em> (Top Left Corner) then select <em>Prepare</em> and click on <em>Inspect Document</em></p>

<p> 2. You may be prompted to save your document. Save your document and the Document Inspector screen will be displayed.</p>
<p>3. Select the modules that correspond to the kind of information you want to look for and then click <em>Inspect</em>.</p>
<p> Once the Inspection is complete, <em>Document Inspector </em>dialog box will show the contents found by the modules in the document. There is also a remove button that allows you to remove the information.</p>

<p>4. After removing selected types of information, you may click <em>Reinspect</em> to remove other types of information or click <em>Close</em> to finish.</p>
