I’ve already had some great experience working as a sales person for top companies including Direct Energy, Club Intrawest and 1800-GOT-JUNK. Most recently I have gotten interested in industrial rope access work and have worked as a high rise building maintenance technician for two years.
My career goal is to start my own companies that promote health and nutrition and alternative energy use. I feel that my previous experiences along with the education I am currently receiving in marketing will be huge assets. The first thing that we had to do in our newly created groups was create a team charter. It was a fun project but at the same time there was a lot of tension because none of us new each other and we had to tread water lightly to make sure that everyone was on the same page.
This is the second case study that my group and I had to do for Marketing class. It was a Pricing Strategy case study on Canty International which is a wall coverings manufacturer that received a request for proposal from a hotel chain to create a new product that is both fire and sound proof.
The day that I discovered TED.Com my life changed because the amount of amazing ideas that were now at my finger tips made my head spin.
TED is a small nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader.
